APSO-BASED APPROACH FOR OPTIMAL ENERGY DETECTION IN COGNITIVE RADIO NETWORKS
Keywords:

The sensing techniques that used in earlier literature suffered from the problem of poor probability of detection under fading channel, as a result it affects the sensing performance at low signal-to-noise ratio. A Particle Swamp Optimization (PSO)-based Optimal energy detection for cooperative spectrum sensing has been utilized in this work to increase the probability of detection under Additive
White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) channel and Rayleigh channel. Results obtained using MATLABR2017 as howeda22% increase in the probability of detection with direct link and 18% increase with without direct link.
